Human Beings are social creatures. It is our detachment from each other, our shame and fears that causes us to want to be alone.
At our core we all have the same fundamental needs for connection and understanding. Desipte any apparent differences, we all want to be accepted by one another and be free to express ourselves. Every person has a unique view of the world and a voice that deserves to be heard. I am able to create nurturing and supportive spaces to allow for communication and understanding to emerge. |

I have learnt skills and tools that can help to facilitate spaces and places into fruition or to apapt them to be more inclusive and meet the needs of the beings using it; using a combination of experience, training and instinct.
We CAN do it!
Hosting and Facilitation have two dfferwnt functions. Both can be required for some applications but often one is needed more than another. Both look for a way to build connections, to crate a concenus and find harmony for systems involving people.
Hosting
Hosting is the skill of holding space for people to connect. It is an artform and requires a special and often subtle ability to sense energy, power and subtle interatcions in an evironment and between a group of people. Hosts create a space where evryone feels welcome, all have space to feel significant and able to express their option. It a place open to finding solutions and resolutions, or to reconnect, build understanding and co-create together.

Facilitation
A Facilitator is a hand holder, a gentle guide and a mentor for a group. A factilitaors role is to help a group reach a destination, a goal or landmark. It requires more nurture and has an intended outcome.
Often briliant ideas for significant change can seem so impossible to reach or a problem can seem so large it needs many varying and contrasting view points to be considered, it can be overwhelming. This is where a facilitaitor can help to make sense of a situation or help to create a strategy or action new ideas. |
