Surviving Trauma Town

I think it is the time of the story, time we spoke up and started to speak out. This is my story...

Can an entire population of people suffer a mass trauma?

Is it possible to survive and thrive in your experience when everyone around you seems to think abusing each other is not only acceptable but totally normal?

Is it possible for an entire collective group to actively want to be controlled, neglected and abused?

A personal, emotional, spiritual or factual exploration & analysis of my experinces surviving Trauma, Abuse and Neglect.

If GOD exists then...

"If GOD exists then..". I hear so often as justification of non-belief, denial of the Divine and an end to the journey to discover our own GOD.
My writtten exploration...

Picture
If GOD exists then why is there so much sufferring? If GOD exists then how can children be abused? If GOD exists then why do innocent people die from horrible illness such as cancer? If GOD exists then why am I in pain, is really what people mean.

I would like to begin with a moment of clarity. GOD doesnt abuse anyone or cause any sufferring... People do.

More specificly people not connected to their divinity suffer and cause endless sufferring in the world. It is not GOD who ceasing to exist that causes evil, it it the refusal to connect with divinity that allows the evil to be here.  It is a lack of responsibility to admit the ability to be evil to exist in each of us that causes our suffering. We cause our own sufferring by refusing to align with GOD's will.

GOD does not cause cancer, the lack of our connection to eachother and this earth we live on, our ignorance towards the reality of life does; people cause cancer in themselves and each other. It is a side effect of uncincious living, not caring about ourselves or the consequences of our actions, it is a result of acting in accordance to our own selfish will and not in alignment with universal love. Our universe is ruled by a few non-negotiable laws, an important one to understand in this example being cause and effect.

For me GOD means, Gift Of Divinity.

GOD is the universal magic, the universal energy, the universal thing that causes us to be alive, the invisible thread that connects each living thing the indecribable awe that is us being here. GOD is existence itself, it is the source of life, GOD is love. Within each living being their is one conected force, the force of growth the will to thrive, the want to be alive, the drive to exist.

If GOD didn't exist, there would be no existence.

Every living thing, wether aware or not, wants to live. It does what it does, in order to live and it lives through the symbiotic connection that is life..all that is was and will be, existence, GOD.

Life is compex, a complicated system so much so it is beauitful, magical, inexplianable, exhustable to define, pure wonder. It doesn't mean it is all sunshine and roses, there are stinging nettles, and thunder storms but they are not one bit less Divine than the former. When we (humans) judge them to be less than, we are not living in connection with life we are living our ignorance and void of Divinity.
We decide some things in life are difficult and are to be avaoided but pain is a physical messenger of non-alignment. A warning that we need to adject ourselves in order to take care of ourselves, to be our best. But we consider pain bad and try to ignore it, push it away and avoid it and pain will not "just go away". Ignored pain turns into sufferring and suffering ultimatley causes us harm .

I was moved to write this post after a wander to the local fair. I walked past a group of my neighbours who were chatting to the local minister. He was all dressed up in his block robe from his neck to his toes with his white band around his troat.

"I'm Sorry, one lady said, but I can't see how GOD exists. If GOD exists then how can children be abused? Why do children have to suffer such horrible things?"

Her voice was stern, slightly unsure, almost confrontational and seeping with the traumua and pain she has lived with. Was that really her question? or was the question she realy wanted to ask more like this?

"If GOD esists then why wasn't I saved from the abuse I sufferred as a child when I was so innocent and vunerable?"

Her tough manner and outward expression mirrored the pain I heard in her voice, she was a strong woman; with many walls of defenses built up. Defences that now caused her pain to address, confrontand to justify. There was also a deeper longing and a yearning in her tone, she was looking for an answer as to how she coud let them (her defences) down and not be abused.

I find behind the weight of this question is often a hidden personal quest to find GOD. A deep routed serch for the confirmation you knew in your heart as a child was right but had to (painfully) let go of to justify and protect yourself from trauma, abuse and neglect. GOD must not exist becuase if GOD exists I should be safe...and I am not. I feel pain, I see pain, I live pain and I don't know how not to.

Often the whole point of the question admits that there is something there to be debated that would "allow" such sufferring.  An ignorance and lack of understanding of ourselves and humanity; that we cause sufferring and regardless of  GOD or no GOD only we (humanity) are responsible for the sufferring humanity causes to itself.
This respisibility is a huge one, a painful one. One in fact so deeply hurtful that we would rather just deny any existence of good in the world to protect ourselves from the pain of the lack of good in our lives and free ourselves from the moment by moment choices we make to choose to act through love or through lack of love.

It is a huge topic to cover and I plan to in many ways through my blog. I write from my personal understanding gained through my experinces of life and discovering the Divinity within me. The difference in my life when I choose to act through that energy and when I choose not to.
For me, Divinity is freedom from my sufferring, the guide that leads me aways from it towards love, goodness and healing. Divinity will take you back to your natural state of wholeness and indescribable worth.

Our society however, now so GODless due to our justifications and attachments to dogma, can not even begin to understand the complextities of life becuase it is void of GOD. GOD has been poisoned with lies and human interpretation, jusgement and ignorance.
GOD is a personal journey  and although we can support each other on our invididual paths, no dogma can exist to teach it to us. We must find it for ourselves, we must feel it for ourselves.  The lack of direction and value given to this quest we each have causes the sufferring in our society, leads to our abuse and neglect of life, ourselves and each other.

Existence is symbiosis, it is non-judgemental. It is life and death, growth and decay, it is turning seasons, unfolding moments, it is energy experiencing iteself as one thing then another, then another.
Abuse and sufferring is a part of life but only becuase we jusge it as so by moving away from Divinty and our connection to the cycles. This behaviour is a side effect of our human awareness. The gift of conciouness combined with rational mind has allowed us to question, to second guess to ignore our innate knowing, our instincts; our hear felt understanding of the world.

It is through the lack of GOD, the lack of Life connection, the lack of understanding of ourselves and our existence that causes abuse and allows it to exist and to cycle.

GOD does not cause it, GOD does not even allow it. GOD will always lead you back to harmony, balance, symbiosis. It is our rationality, jutifcation herifcahy and need for control; the effects of trauma residue in our life, that causes our sufferring and GOD is the only answer to end it.

I am not tallking here religion, dogma, or any sort of external control. I am talking each person reconnecting with the present form of their exisitince, connecting with life, knowing themselves and who they are, embracing their GOD. Accepting life and allowing it to flow through us cures us of our abusive nature.

Living in divintiy as a connected being of the world is our natural state. Living in love and life and harmony, practicing compassion, care and tollerance. Accepting ourselves and each other as master work of Art created by the one creator of life, something that was created from nothing leaves no space within us to abuse and neglect.

GOD is a feeling and knowing and it is a moment by moment choice to appreciate yourself and be loving towards yourself. If we did this abuse and neglect could not exist. We would eradicate harm from our world and free each other from the shackles of our own inner enemy.

If GOD exists how can we be so harmful? We use this question to let ourselves off the hook, treat ourselves like crap and allow ourselves to abuse others. If we just decided to admit that GOD exists and we chose to act from the energy of GOD in every moment we can; forgive and love ourselves regardless of our belief or ideas of a savouir force beyond ourselves, we will experince the undeniable truth that GOD exists. We will experince heaven, on Earth and know for sure that GOD is within each of us.

We will have peace.

AMEN (and so it is)
