Surviving Trauma Town

I think it is the time of the story, time we spoke up and started to speak out. This is my story...

Can an entire population of people suffer a mass trauma?

Is it possible to survive and thrive in your experience when everyone around you seems to think abusing each other is not only acceptable but totally normal?

Is it possible for an entire collective group to actively want to be controlled, neglected and abused?

A personal, emotional, spiritual or factual exploration & analysis of my experinces surviving Trauma, Abuse and Neglect.

An Exploration into Anarchism

What is Anarchism? An exploration into my idea of anarchism, the benfits of it, the common sense attached to it and why an arachistic society needs to be considered...
A written exploration and video blog.

The idea of Anarchism has been falsely presented in our culture. My suggestion would be because it would obliterate the powers that currently exist. The idea of anarchists as masked rioters and vicious disruptors of the peace is designed to keep it far from our minds, despite the opposite truth existing. Yes anarchism is based on chaos but in a dualist universe seeking balance by inviting and welcoming chaos through an open system we actually invite order.

The anarchist view is based upon giving power back to the individuals and inviting them to control themselves to self regulate, to take responsibility and to be accountable. True anarchism strengthens the bonds of community, family and is dependant on the individual living the true consequence of their choices.
In our current system we can treat people any way we want under the guise that if we were wrong we would be punished, that as a victim some rescuer will come and save us a give us justice. This is illusionary and an invitation for bad behaviour. If the actual consequences of your own behaviour was that you would face consequences, imposed by those your rely upon and care about, then we, as aware adults would have to adapt our behaviour, ourselves. We would not be saved from it, we would not have “rights” we would be accountable for the damage we create.

In our current system we are not really held accountable. We are manipulated by a collective idea of “normality” that is illusionary, normal does not exist on Earth. This idea of normality is dictating an acceptable level of societal norm we assume is positive, or safe or good. Yet what is positive, safe or good about having a mass population of powerless, manipulated people?
Alongside this collective minimisation of uniqueness there is a hierarchy of power. The collective and the hierarchy limit our individual choice and accountability. This idea is what causes the perpetuating system of violence and abuse we currently live amongst, often in a covert way.

In an anarchist system the individual has sovereignty and all individuals have power. The system would in fact self regulate and ultimately create harmony. In an anarchist system abuse would not be tolerated as individuals are required to build and maintain their own power, abuse, manipulation would be almost impossible. Leaders ore not imposed upon us, we would naturally chose to be lead by those we respect and who honour us. Leaders would indeed be pillars of respect and responsibility as we all hope they would be but rarely are in todays world.

Our current democracy is an illusion and is based on a false premise. We are not currently living in democracy we are very deep in control somewhere in the middle of Communism and Fascism but no where near balance or tolerance of diversity. Enforcement, imposed order and mass control, creates chaos. Too much chaos makes us easier to control perpetuating the systems of control. We are not free. We are not able to live as we please. We exist in the open prison that is our current democracy unable to live beyond the ideas of it. If we want to live outside of it we are punished, the system is guarded by authorities and we must comply to exist within it. That is imprisonment not freedom.

Not only are we expected to live within laws we may not personally agree to within the illusion of democracy there are so many laws the individual can only truly understand them all if they choose to dedicate their lives to understanding it. Yet we are expected to live within these laws by pre-puberty but we are not taught what they are, assumed we are too stupid to understand them. What is the point of creating laws that these so called normal people can not understand? Who can any rational person be expected to live within limits they can understand?
So complex in their creation, formulation and explanation that it is just expected by a basic understanding that laws are as simple as knowing “right” from “wrong.” Yet it is not our own knowing of right and wrong that is brought into question within the law, it is wether we live within the “collective” version of right and wrong and more accurately the interoperation of what is right or wrong by people in power, selected potentially by other people. People we do not know, who do not know us or our best interests. People who we ourselves may not ever choose to want to follow or lead us. Individuals who have power but have a value to use or our lives as individuals and we are expected to live within values they have decided are right, true and apparently, obvious.

Beyond this in democracy we must also earn our place and prove our worth within this open prison system, we are slaves to it. If we want to survive in it we must comply and earn our right to exist. Since we exist I would suggested that is in fact implied we have a right to. The systems that are apparently here to serve us in fact limit us and restrict individuals being themselves. Doing as they would naturally choose to and therefore existing for others, warping our very existence in the process.

Communism and its dangers have only recently resented them selves in my personal reality. I had not fully considered the horror of the idea that and individual is not as important as the collective. That most are invalid and their experiences does not matter, it is not important and therefore should be given up. The idea that the collective is the power and we must give ourselves to it in order to strengthen all. So what is the point of being and individual, what is the point of existing at all if we can not be who and what we are?
Anarchism has both regard to the individual, their value and contribution and their sovereignty and honour for the collective. Here diversity and the natural balancing effect of many ideas creating what is required is the true law of nature .The real honest and vital law of the land and living beings. The be yourself, take what you need, and respect all that exists as equally important to the self without giving it away.

My personal view is that the individual should be free and collectives should be managed. Sovereign individuals able to live as they please and where power is formed through the uniting of a collective, control is imposed to limit any potential damage and to minimise the accumulation of power to any cause.
The only laws we need are as simple as do no harm. As an individual we can do little harm to the collective, when we are able to band together an us the power of others to impose or push an agenda or collective objective, harm can be created. One person can not destroy our environment but groups can. One person does not make war nor can they commit genocide, but groups can and do. Here is were we need to impose restrictions and limit power and freedom. My ideal, do what you want yourself but in a group you must be limited to ensure the safety of all.

The fact that in a “democratic” society we can not even debate or consider the idea of anarchism and people to the individual as an option for a healthy society, nor can we admit to or question the faults and flaws of society or challenging at the effectiveness of government, also suggests the deep dark of control we are forcing each other to live in, comply with and suffer under.
It is the idea and grasp for power and authority that causes war, as declared in our own history books. It is the following of government and people in command labelling fallible humans as a “higher power” that is responsible for every genocide we have survived. If we are truly free, we should and would be able to rationally consider the failings of our current system and seek to alter and effect that through change. Disruptive, risky change, that we so desperately need if our goal as a species is to thrive, find harmony and indeed just be civil.
